*Salary Range: $37.37 – $51.98 per hour
The bioinformatician will advance the discovery of genetic exploitation for intelligence purposes related to human DNA or bio-warfare agents.
Responsibilities
Monitor research in the field of bioinformatics to identify and recommend advances with potential intelligence applications; adapt software tools, database and/or other government systems as required to implement advances in genetic intelligence, draft and/or review intelligence products to accurately convey exploitation results to an intelligence analytic audience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, scientific, technical, education or related field with 5-8 years of job related experience or Master’s Degree and 3-6 years of job related experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position include:

*The candidate’s starting salary will be determined upon hire and ORAU will use salary survey data, internal comparators, and the candidate’s qualifications to determine salary.
